Marda teaches energetic, sweaty, power vinyasa, slow flow vinyasa, gentle Hatha, restorative, and yoga sculpt.

Marda found the connection between yoga, health, and living her best life 20 years ago and has continued on this path. Yoga has transformed her outlook through difficult times and helped her heal her body from years of competitive tennis. In 2009 after moving from Ohio to Colorado, she earned her YA 200-hour teacher training through Corepower at their flagship location in Denver. Before moving to Evergreen in 2018, Marda managed the yoga studio at Greenwood Athletic Club, in which she wrote the content for a successful 200-hour teacher training (RYS) led by one of her most inspirational yoga teachers Amy Baker. In 2016 Marda created a Yoga Sculpt teacher training and is a YACEP. Marda is an author and has published three books and is working on two more to be published this year. I am a girl, and I am a warrior. Also, if you are away from home, check out Mardas’ youtube channel to keep up your practice- she has over a hundred yoga videos of all styles.

When Marda isn’t teaching yoga, she is busy raising Three teenage boys with her best friend and husband, Chad.

Marda believes Yoga is for everybody and everybody. She encourages her students to show up as they are and be open to endless possibilities. Commit to showing up to your mat, and yoga will do the work.
